Multitude of Sediment Sampling Techniques, Other Specialized Services.

Construction and environmental marine projects create unique challenges. ATL’s experienced staff and fleet of barges, survey vessels, and specialized equipment have met the challenges of collecting subsurface and spatial information on such projects as the St. Lawrence River, New Bedford Harbor and Hudson River Remediation Projects. ATL has the ability to provide a multitude of sediment sampling techniques, including vibracore, split spoon, and ponar dredge. Other specialized services include velocity and current studies, turbidity measurements, and discrete water column samples.

Why ATL?

  • ATL has provided water based subsurface investigation projects throughout the North-eastern United States, in salt and fresh water environments.

  • ATL possesses eight – 8-foot x 20-foot barge sections that can be configured as a single large drilling platform or multiple small (16 x 20) self propelled barges.

  • ATL can fulfill the subsurface investigation requirements of a project by mounting our CME-45, CME-55, or CME-75 drill rigs on a variety of barge configurations, ranging in size from 16 feet by 20 feet to 24 feet by 40 feet, or ATL can simultaneously mobilize multiple barges and drill rigs for large projects

  • Multitude of sediment sampling techniques, including Vibracore.

  • Ability to provide surveying support services for all subsurface investigation projects. ATL has extensive experience, utilizing GPS technology for navigation and sample location layout.

  •  Reputation for quality workmanship and responsiveness to client requirements
