At the recently held NorthEast Transportation Technician Certification Program (NETTCP) Annual Meeting, ATL’s Jim Kuhn, PE was elected as 1st Vice President of the Executive Board representing industry. Jim has served in various committee and leadership roles during his many years of involvement with NETTCP. He is looking forward to assisting the organization in growing to meet the increasing needs of the transportation construction industry.

NETTCP was founded in 1995 to meet the requirements of 23 CFR, Part 637, QA Procedures for Construction. The objectives of the organization are:

  1. To increase the knowledge of production and field technicians
  2. To reduce the problems associated with test result differences
  3. To eliminate individual state certification programs and the issue of reciprocity
  4. To move forward in standardization of test methods and test procedures used by the six New England States and New York
