After 13 years serving as a Senior Engineer at ATL, Jim Scancarello is retiring. During his time at ATL he worked in ATL’s Canton and Rochester offices.
Jim has over 36 years of experience in the engineering and construction world. When first hired, Jim served as the primary instructor for ATL’s Technical Training Institute. Jim later transferred to the Engineering Division, and provided his expertise in the engineering field by performing a wide range of specialized services, including vibration monitoring, structural condition surveys, wind turbine foundation design, and structural steel inspections.
Jim, a licensed PE in New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts, earned his Bachelors in Civil Engineering from Clarkson University and his Masters in Education Technology from SUNY Potsdam.
Jim stated, “Over the years I worked on many unique projects which presented many technical challenges. I think that aspect of my job is what kept me interested and always looking forward to the next challenge.”
ATL would like to thank Jim for his many years of dedicated service and we wish him a happy retirement.
