Marijean Remington, C.E.O. of ATL, announced that the ATL Board of Directors has appointed James J. Kuhn, P.E., President of ATL, a Canton-based technical services firm with 10 offices throughout New York State.

Jim began working with ATL in 1994 after obtaining his Civil Engineering degree from Clarkson University.  He has since held positions as Engineer, Assistant Division Manager, Division Manager, Area Manager, Vice President, Senior Vice President, and Executive Vice President.

Jim is also very active in engineering professional societies serving as Northeast Regional Vice President – New York State Society of Professional Engineers, Board Member – NorthEast Transportation Technician Certification Program, Board Member and Treasurer – American Council of Independent Laboratories, Trustee and PDH Program Evaluator – Practicing Institute of Engineering, and  Director – Foundation for Engineering Education.

Ms. Remington stated “I am extremely pleased that Jim has accepted the position as President of ATL.  We have confidence in Jim, and his management and leadership abilities to move ATL forward to even more successful endeavors”.  Jim is the third ATL President in the company’s 45-year history succeeding Remington most recently and founding President Spencer F. Thew.

Jim resides in Clifton Park, New York, with his wife, Shannon and sons, Larry and Nate.
