ATL is proud to participate in National Trench Safety Stand Down Week June 16-20, reinforcing our commitment to excavation safety. With recent heavy rains across the state, it’s critical to recognize how moisture impacts trench stability.

Trench Safety Reminders:
• A competent person must inspect trenches before entry and after any changes
• Rain alters soil texture, increasing the risk of collapse
• Moisture content affects trench stability — wetter soil is more dangerous
• Excess water can collect in trenches, creating slip hazards and erosion

At ATL, safety is our top priority. Stay alert, follow inspection protocols, and never enter a trench that hasn’t been deemed safe.
