The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Materials Testing Center (MTC) Validation Program confirms that commercial laboratories are equipped, staffed, and qualified to perform construction materials testing for USACE projects.

ATL was first validated by the USACE in 1982 to perform Construction Material Testing to support construction projects at the Fort Drum Army Base.

Today, ATL’s Albany (Clifton Park), Buffalo (Hamburg), and Watertown facilities make up three of the eight USACE MTC validated laboratories within New York State. We partner with engineers, architects, contractors and USACE to support quality control and quality assurance requirements for military construction projects throughout the Northeastern US. Additionally, ATL’s laboratories receive samples from throughout the US and beyond to provide aggregate quality testing and concrete mix design and verification services.
