Marijean earned a B.S. degree from Clarkson University and has pursued graduate studies at Syracuse University and Clarkson. Marijean joined ATL in 1985, and previously held the positions of President, Senior Vice President, Vice President, Division Manager, and Staff Consultant.

Ms. Remington is the President of the North Country Alliance Board of Directors, a member of the Center State CEO Board of Directors, and a member of the St. Lawrence County Economic Development Advisory Council.

Jim joined ATL in 1994 after obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Clarkson University. He held the positions of Engineer, Division Manager, Area Manager, Vice President, Senior Vice President, and Executive Vice President before becoming the third President in ATL’s 55+ year history. Jim has had many areas of technical responsibility including field and laboratory testing of construction materials and geotechnical samples, construction materials engineering and inspection, and geotechnical engineering. Jim obtained his Professional Engineer license in 2000 and is currently licensed in NY, PA, CT, and VT.

Jim is currently the Past-Chair of the American Council of Independent Laboratories (ACIL), Past-President of the New York State Society of Professional Engineers (NYSSPE), a Director for the Foundation for Engineering Education (FEE), a Trustee and Program Evaluator for the Practicing Institute of Engineering (PIE), and a Board and Executive Committee member of the Northeast Transportation Technician Certification Program (NETTCP).

Rob joined ATL in October 2021. He has 25+ years in industry, public accounting, and private practice. Rob received his law degree from Albany Law School in 1996 and is admitted to the bar in New York and Massachusetts. He received his MBA from Union College and his BA from Hartwick College.

Scott joined ATL in 1984 and has held the positions of Steel Technician, Senior Technician, Project Manager, Operations Manager, Steel Program Manager, Corporate RSO, Quality Systems Manager and Assistant Vice President before becoming Vice President, Quality. Scott obtained relevant experience in all of ATL’s service areas when performing his technical and managerial positions, which makes him uniquely qualified to provide management and oversight of ATL’s Quality programs.

Scott is currently on the CMET-Executive Committee of American Council of Independent Laboratories, member of the American Association of State Highway Officials Resource Customer Council, member of the CCRL Executive Committee, and on the Board of Directors for Independent Laboratories Institute.

Tom joined ATL in 1997 after obtaining his Biology/Environmental Science degree from St. Lawrence University. Before serving in his current role as Vice President, he held the positions of Scientist, Assistant Division Manager, Division Manager, Area Manager, and Corporate Risk Manager.

Tom obtained his law degree from Syracuse University College of Law in 2012 and is a member of the New York State and Onondaga County Bar Associations.

Will joined ATL in 2004 after receiving an Associates Degree in Construction Management/Architectural Technology from SUNY Delhi. Before serving in his current role as Vice President, he held various positions within the organization starting in an entry level role. Early in his career, Will gained valuable experience performing special inspections, construction materials testing, and non-destructive testing. Adding to his technical responsibilities, Will began to obtain management experience through the positions of Project Manager, Assistant Operations Manager, and Operations Manager within the Utica division of ATL.

In 2014, Will was promoted to Steel Services Manager overseeing steel inspection and non-destructive testing services throughout ATL, while also participating on various American Welding Society (AWS) D1 code committees. With a promotion to Area Manager in 2016, Will became more involved with the development and oversight of the Binghamton, Elmira, Albany, and Poughkeepsie offices. In 2018, as Assistant Vice President, Will continued his involvement with various offices with an additional focus on corporate health and safety and business development.
