ATL Adds 2nd New Sampling Vessel

ATL launched its second new U-FAB 30-foot pontoon sampling boat on the Genesee River recently.  ATL is providing sediment sampling and water analysis in support of engineering evaluations of the lower Genesee River downstream of New York State Route 104 in Rochester, New York.

The objectives of this work are to improve understanding of the nature and extent of contamination and the loadings of contaminants, if any, continuing to enter the lower reach of the Genesee River, assess whether remedial action is warranted, and develop and evaluate corrective measure alternatives as warranted.
