ATL’s President, Jim Kuhn, PE and Vice President of Quality, Scott McCasland, recently attended the American Council of Independent Laboratories (ACIL) 85th Annual Meeting in San Diego, CA. The meeting offered participants opportunities to learn from both peers and vendors in the industry, as well as experience top-notch education to enhance business practices and laboratory operations. Since this conference was in San Diego, they received a guided tour of the UC San Diego earthquake simulator, which is one of the two largest shake tables in the world.

Additionally, Scott was awarded the Preston Millar award for his leadership on the grout box testing project and contributions to the CMET Section of ACIL. He was also reelected to the Executive Committee of the CMET Section, along with continuing to serve on the ILI Board.

Jim was reelected to the ACIL Board of Directors and will continue to serve as Immediate Past-Chair of the Board.
