The St. Lawrence County Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (“STL-CEL”) program was established in October 2019 through a collaboration of the SLCIDA, SUNY Canton, University at Buffalo-CEL, NYPA and the member organizations of the Small Business Working Group. Marijean Remington, CEO of Atlantic Testing Laboratories (ATL), originally assisted with establishing the program and decided to enroll as a participant in the 2021-2022 class.
The program is intended for business leaders to overcome challenges, create new opportunities, and develop meaningful connections within the local business community. It is a peer-based, mentor-driven program designed to:
- Elevate the talents and operating abilities of practicing entrepreneurs
- Introduce you to new methods to facilitate business growth
- Help you understand the issues that influence business decisions
- Enable you to manage your enterprise more holistically
- Sharpen your strategic vision for the future of your business
Marijean recently completed the Collaborative Clinic portion of the program. This is the culmination and application of the material that has been presented and learned during the core competencies workshops and partnering with a mentor to identify a select set of issues that challenge your organization’s growth.
We are proud of Marijean’s participation, and the other ATL employees that have assisted by serving the STL-CEL program as mentors and reactors. ATL fully supports this local initiative dedicated to our business community. We wish all the participants the best as they complete the program.
