ATL Engineering, PC, was recently notified it has been awarded a term contract by the New York State Office of General Services to perform “Geotechnical and Structural Engineering Services” at various locatons Statewide. This is the second consecutive term contract that ATL Engineering has been awarded for these service.
The contact will run for an initial three year period, with the possibility of two additional one-year extensions. ATL Engineering teamed with Atlantic Testing Laboratories, Limited; Greenman-Pedersen, Inc.; Ran Biggs Clark Davis Engineering and Surveying, PC; MJ Engineering and Land Surveying; Foit-Albert Associates; and S.Y. Kim Land Surveying, PC, to perform the diverse services required under this contract.
Geotechnical assignments under the contract will include subsurface investigations, engineering report preparation, and construction observation for large earthwork projects and/or projects needing technical expertise in geotechnical engineering.
The subsequent engineering reports will provide geotechnical and structural engineering recommendations for the design and construction of foundations systems, retaining walls, braced excavations, pavement designs, and other work.
Structural assignments under the contract will include rehabilitation of existing OGS facilities, including hazardous materials investigations and design services for the remediation/removal of such materials, and preparation of survey reports and contract documents.
