ATL PROVIDES SAFETY TRAINING TO COINCIDE WITH CHANGING WEATHER

Throughout the month of March, ATL’s field staff underwent quarterly safety training. The focus for this quarter was spring job site safety. With the changing of the weather, ATL’s field staff is being reminded of the hazards associated with springtime weather. The focus was the increased moisture on the ground due to the rain and snowmelt, which creates slippery conditions due to wet surfaces, mud, and overnight freezing. There was also a discussion on trenching and excavation safety as it related to hazardous ground conditions commonly encountered in the springtime.

All ATL field staff attended the training virtually, in accordance with safety guidelines and ATL policy surrounding COVID-19. The training was conducted by the corporate safety team, located in the Clifton Park office.
