ATL Subject Matter Experts Contribute to Publications

ATL wants to acknowledge our Subject Matter Experts, Cheyenne Dashnaw, PE and Kasey Garrand, IG, who were recently both published in regional and national magazines.

• Cheyenne, one of ATL’s Senior Engineers, contributed to this month’s issue of Asphalt Pro magazine. The featured article, titled “PFAS Update”, discusses per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in firefighting foam that has been found in the asphalt where firefighting training occurs.

• Kasey, one of ATL’s Senior Project Managers, had his technical paper “Defining SWPPP Required Construction Phasing Plans” featured in Building the Southern Tier magazine. The paper discusses the importance of putting together a detailed construction phasing plan to establish the order in which different aspects of the SWPPP are to be completed.
