Construction Activities That Require a Qualified Stormwater Inspector In New York State

Determining when Stormwater Inspections (performed by a Qualified Stormwater Inspector) are required for construction activities in New York State is an important part of the project planning process.  The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has provided lists of construction activities that trigger these inspections in the SPDES General Permit for Stormwater Discharges.  The lists can be found in Appendix B, on pages 48 – 51.
