Determining when Stormwater Inspections (performed by a Qualified Stormwater Inspector) are required for construction activities in New York State is an important part of the project planning process. The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has provided lists of construction activities that trigger these inspections in the SPDES General Permit for Stormwater Discharges. The lists can be found in Appendix B, on pages 48 – 51.
If you have an upcoming project that includes activities found in Tables 1 or 2 above, ATL has 26 Qualified Stormwater Inspectors, working under the direct supervision of ATL’s Licensed Professional Engineers, located strategically throughout New York State to perform SWPPP Inspections as required in your General Permit.
