March is recognized by the Prevent Blindness and the National Safety Council (NSC) as Workplace Eye Wellness Month. Throughout the month, Prevent Blindness posted graphics and fact sheets, and provided different resources for companies to promote eye health within the workplace.

ATL utilized the information to focus on eye safety for construction and industrial settings, as well as office settings for individuals who spend a lot of time looking at computer screens, an often-overlooked aspect of eye health and safety.

ATL provides all field and laboratory staff with eye protection as part of their personal protective equipment (PPE) as soon as they come onboard, including prescription eyewear for anyone who requires it. They are trained in the proper use and maintenance of safety eyewear, along with all of their PPE.

Safety is a critical component to performing our services, and making it part of our daily routine has allowed ATL to achieve our current mark of over 1.5M hours worked without a lost time injury!
