Thermal ConductivityATL’s Rochester, NY facility is providing Thermal Conductivity Testing on projects from across the United States. A large portion of these samples are coming from regions that are experiencing substantial expansion and upgrading to utility systems.

Thermal Conductivity Testing provides important data for design of underground transmission lines relating the ability of the duct bank to exchange heat with the ground. Testing is also performed during construction to measure consistency and identify possible failure points.

ATL has experience performing testing on samples of native soils, proposed backfill sources, duct bank concrete, rock specimens, and Fluidized Thermal Backfill (FTB) in accordance with ASTM D5334 and IEEE 442.

Please consider ATL for your Thermal Conductivity Testing and contact Royce Knowlton at RKnowlton@atlantictesting.com or call 585-427-9020 to discuss your project requirements and receive a sample report.
