PFAS in New York State
Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) are a group of man-made chemicals, including perfluorooctanesulfonic acid (PFOS) and perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), used in the production of a wide variety of consumer goods. PFAS have been commonly found in food packaging, household cleaning products, stain repellents, pesticides, and fire-retarding foam.
ATL Receives 1 Million Hours Award Plaques from the National Safety Council
Back in February, ATL accomplished the milestone of 1 million hours worked without a lost work time injury, a streak which continues to this day! Recently, the accomplishment was recognized by the National Safety Council when ATL received plaques for each office to commemorate the achievement.

ATL continues to support the building of a more resilient electrical grid by providing thermal resistivity testing for soil, concrete, grout, and fluidized thermal backfill in accordance with ASTM D5334 – Determination of Thermal Conductivity of Soil and Soft Rock by Thermal Needle Probe Procedure.
ATL Senior Engineer Elected NYSSPE Northeast Regional Vice President
ATL Senior Engineer Steve Moore, PE attended the New York State Society of Professional Engineers (NYSSPE) Annual Conference on June 10th in Suffern, NY. NYSSPE elected officials for two-year terms and installed Steve as the Vice President for NY State’s Northeast Region.
