ATL is promoting National Distracted Driving Awareness Month by ensuring that all employees are aware of the issues and consequences of distracted driving, and are committed to driving distraction-free every time they get behind the wheel.

Distracted driving is any activity that diverts attention from driving, such as talking or texting on a cell phone, eating, drinking, engaging with other passengers in your vehicle, or adjusting the radio, entertainment, or navigation system. Any time your focus diverts away from driving to any other task, you greatly increase your chances of crashing. If you need to send a text, pull over and park in a safe location, or have a passenger serve as your “designated texter”.

Remember to “Think Safety First”.
