IMG_20150603_134904_041IMG_2395ATL has added the Geoprobe Model 7822DT Probing Machine to its geotechnical and environmental drill rigs.  The 7822DT is a high-capacity direct push machine with a narrow platform for limited access areas and a sufficient stroke for added work space under hammer.  The new drill rig will allow us to gain access to tight locations and avoid overhead restrictions and inside clearance issues.

The 7822DT’s size allows us to maximize mobility by using a truck and tractor option to haul the drill rig without the complexities and expense of a CDL truck required by larger rigs.  The 12-inch tracks allow us to move and position the drill rig on various off road surfaces and the tethered remote offers greater flexibility for control.

The new unit is packed with great features that will help us be safer and more efficient.  Features like built-in oscillation for easy alignment on uneven grades, a rear stabilizer blade, automatic drop hammer, and four-speed auger head.  This machine was designed and built CE compliant allowing us to operate on sites regulated by the strictest safety protocols.
