ATL is starting the fall season off with our PDH seminar schedule that includes two brand new webinars. ATL has provided continuing education seminars for PDH credit for over 15 years, and we are excited to announce that the following seminars have been approved for online presentation. The seminars are intended to provide participants with an understanding of technical topics that will assist with their project needs. ATL courses are recognized by most U.S. states including New York to receive PDH credits for various professional licensure (ATL is a NYS approved sponsor organization).

    Geotechnical Evaluations for Roadway Projects
    Presenter: Brian Barnes, PE
This presentation provides a summary of typical subsurface investigations and test methods used to evaluate geotechnical design parameters for new and existing roadway design and construction projects. A discussion on some common geotechnical parameters used in roadway design will be presented based the collected field and laboratory test data, and empirical correlations. (1PDH)

    Engineering Significance of Aggregate Tests
    Presenter: Steve Moore, PE
This 1-hour seminar will discuss the engineering significance of aggregate tests outlined in ASTM C33, Standard Specifications for Concrete Aggregates. Various Coarse and Fine aggregate tests will be discussed, specifically those related to the strength and durability of concrete. The test procedures will be briefly discussed, how the tests simulate different field environments, and how the results relate to the overall strength and durability will be presented. (1PDH)
