At ATL, we are committed to the health and safety of our employees, clients, and communities as we continue to provide important field and laboratory services in support of essential and emergency projects during the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The nature of our services requires essential staff to perform in-person work on field projects and in our laboratory facilities. To the greatest extent possible, our office staff are working remotely from their homes to minimize the number of employees in our facilities.
We have made many necessary and mandated adjustments to our operations in regards to COVID-19, and remain ever focused on serving our clients and the public in a responsible and safe manner. We are holding daily executive and management conference calls to review recommendations, guidelines, and recent developments from state and federal agencies, as well as client and project specific requirements. All staff are following the applicable CDC, DOH, and OSHA guidelines and recommendations for the services they provide. We are issuing tool box talks and safety bulletins to our staff containing reminders and information updates, and we are providing the necessary PPE for the projects they work on. We are also working closely with our clients to take the necessary precautions to protect our employees and other individuals on projects sites by knowing and following site specific health and safety requirements.
We anticipate that new challenges will continue to develop and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we all work through this together. Please contact one of our local offices, or your direct ATL contact, to discuss situations or services we can assist you with. ATL is dedicated to providing a safe place to work and the health and safety of our employees, clients, and the community is of utmost priority as we conduct operations. Stay healthy and safe, and we look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
