ATL EMPLOYEES ATTEND SPECIAL INSPECTION TRAINING

Atlantic Testing Laboratories strives for quality in our services and in doing so we are committed to sending qualified individuals to our Clients projects. As part of the State of New York Building Code, Chapter 17 “Structural Tests and Inspections”, some projects require additional inspection beyond the standard materials testing services. This is outlined in the “Statement of Special Inspections” for the project.

As part of our continuing development of employees we conduct an additional structured two day internal training program for Special Inspectors. This training, developed by our project and operations managers, in conjunction with our quality department, will provide employees with hands on, real world scenarios on what they will see in the field.  Training is a continuous practice at ATL, as we adapt to stay up to date with the requirements of the latest codes and construction documents. This training will also provide our field staff with a better understanding of the reference material and construction documents used to provide this inspection service.
