ATL has seen an increase in interest and requests for testing in accordance with Nordtest Method NT Build 492. The purpose of this test is to determine the chloride migration coefficient in concrete, mortar, or cement-based repair materials. Test specimens can be cast in the laboratory or field, or obtained from drilled cores from existing structures. The test results provide average and individual data of chloride penetration depth and migration coefficient that is used to assess the current or potential reactions and conditions of concrete.

ATL provides several laboratory test procedures to determine various properties of concrete and other related materials. Contact Steve Moore, PE to discuss your project needs at smoore@atlantictesting.com or 518-383-9144. Learn more about the services provided by ATL at AtlanticTesting.com.
