Atlantic Testing Laboratories (ATL) Hires 32 Interns and Co-ops in 2017
Each year ATL provides paid summer internships and Co-Op programs, with students from colleges and universities throughout the Northeastern United States. ATL’s programs provide students the opportunity to explore their field of study, gain valuable job experience, fulfill college requirements, and learn the skills necessary to succeed in today’s work environment. The students will receive mentoring and guidance from ATL’s experienced staff.
ATL has hired 32 interns and Co-Op students from the following educational institutions:
- Alfred State College
- Clarkson University
- Clinton Community College
- Lehigh University
- Mohawk Valley Community College
- Onondaga Community College
- Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
- Rochester Institute of Technology
- SUNY Canton
- SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry
- SUNY Polytechnic Institute
- Syracuse University
- University of Maine
Through a required program of training and certification, students receive experience related to their field of study. This includes programs from the American Concrete Institute, nuclear gauge certification, NYSDOL asbestos certification, corporate safety orientation, and the OSHA 10-Hour General Safety certification, as well as others. Upon completion of their internship, students leave ATL with the certifications and experience that will benefit them for years to come. Once completing their degree, many students return to continue their career at ATL.
