Interns and Co-ops
For over 25 years, ATL has provided paid summer internships and co-op programs to students from a wide variety of colleges. We were recognized the past 2 years by the Albany Business Journal for having a top Intern/Co-op program.
Students who join ATL’s team, receive valuable hands-on training and guidance from our experienced staff. They participate in programs and receive the following certifications: American Concrete Institute, Nuclear Gauge Certification, NYSDOL Asbestos Certification, Corporate Safety Orientation, and the OSHA 10-Hour General Safety Certification.
Our fundamental goal is to provide a company culture that supports all employees. We offer an exciting, rewarding, and challenging environment that employees can contribute and thrive in. Many students return to ATL upon completing their degree to begin their career here, and gain knowledge and skills that will benefit them for years to come.
Recent ATL Company Culture Stories
ATL just completed a company-wide contest that challenged staff to search for project leads (we call ‘Clip-Its’) and send them to their regional marketing representatives (AKA, the referees). We split up all our offices into three conferences: Northern, Eastern and Western.
We are pleased to announce that Mike Stewart has been promoted to Group Leader for ATL’s Utica Division. Mike has worked at ATL for 5 years, starting in April 2016, and has held various positions, including Technician, Environmental Specialist and Project Manager prior to his promotion to Group Leader.
ATL’s Corporate Health & Safety Manager, Larry Gallagher is retiring! Larry came to ATL in 2012, with much experience in the health and safety field.
