ATL is proud to recognize Marijean Remington, Chief Executive Officer, for 35 years of dedicated service. Marijean joined ATL after earning her degree from Clarkson University and pursued graduate studies at Syracuse University and Clarkson. Over her years at ATL, she has held the positions of Staff Consultant, Division Manager, Vice President, Senior Vice President of Corporate Development, President, and now CEO.
Under her leadership, ATL has grown in number of offices and employees. The company consists of 10 offices throughout NYS and over 275 employees. This growth has been accomplished through her belief in empowering the management staff to be decision-makers and holding them accountable for the responsibilities they take on. It has been a very successful strategy.
Marijean is known at ATL for providing opportunity and encouraging employees to seek new challenges and take on new responsibilities. She is a strong advocate for giving highly motivated staff a chance to learn new skills, and continue their professional development and career growth.
She is also very active in the business community as President of the North Country Alliance Board of Directors, and a Board member of CenterState CEO, and the St. Lawrence County Economic Development Advisory Council. Marijean encourages all staff of ATL to participate in professional, business, and community activities and associations.
