Have your plans changed for attending college this fall and you are interested in an internship position?  ATL is accepting applications at all our locations for entry-level positions as an Intern or Co-op in the engineering/construction materials and environmental fields.

Construction Materials and Engineering Technicians perform testing and inspection at construction sites and in our laboratories in accordance with American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) or other applicable procedures. Materials being tested include soil, aggregate, concrete, bituminous, masonry, steel, and fireproofing.

Environmental Technicians perform services including monitoring abatement and remediation activities of regulated materials (asbestos, lead, and mold) in accordance with state and federal regulations, air monitoring, project documentation, and collection of other environmental samples.

We provide training and certification prior to independent assignments. About 80 percent of the time is spent at active construction sites providing quality control/quality assurance testing, sampling, monitoring, and/or inspection. The remainder of the time is spent in the laboratory conducting standardized tests to verify that construction materials meet project specification or office documenting field and/or laboratory testing.
