  Geotechnical Evaluations for Roadway Projects

  This presentation provides a summary of typical subsurface investigations and test methods used to evaluate geotechnical design parameters for new and existing roadway design and construction projects. A discussion on some common geotechnical parameters used in roadway design will be presented based the collected field and laboratory test data, and empirical correlations. (1PDH)
